So we are in process of re-doing our backyard! We replaced our grass with the synthetic grass and we are ALL loving it! Kollin has never really been able to play on the outside lawn beucase it was either dirty or soggy! Since the new grass was installed, Kollin has been playing on it like crazy! It so cute! last night he was having so much fun just wanting me to take pictures. You know me...I wasn't complaining! We were having fun!

Fun with Friends
Saturday night we had a fun night with friends! The Butier's and The Mahoney's came over for pizza and fun! The kids are such fun ages! (We met The Mahoney's - Peyton & Owen (the big girl & little boy) at phoenix school preschool). After dinner we walked to Nuyo (a frozen yogurt place here in folsom). The kids loved that! After Yogurt we came home and had a fun filled night of the Wii. American Idol was the top game for the night...we had singing Battles! So much fun! Thanks guys for a great night! We had a blast and look forward to doing it again soon!

Bye-Bye Nanny Alyssa
This past weekend we said goodbye to our Nanny, Alyssa! She has been the best Nanny...we lucked out! The boys (Kollin and Mason) have loved being with her all summer! She did all kinds of fun things with them (her boyfriend Brian too...)! They went miniature golfing, swimming, wacky tacky (play center), petsmart (to see the baby kitties), The zoo (folsom and sacramento), and lots more! They have had the summer of their lives and Im sure they will never forget it!
To say goodbye and show our appreciation, we decided to take Alyssa and Brian (her boyfriend) to dinner as she is headed back to school (and a "real" job) soon as well! We will miss her so much but we know we'll see her soon! We can't thank her enough for all the things she has done for us. Thanks Alyssa (Brian too!). We will miss you!

First day of 1st Grade
So it's official! Our BABY is now a 1st grader! Today was the first day! He was so excited to go and be a "big Kid"! He didn't even want to eat breakfast this morning because he just wanted to get to school! He is very excited that his best friend Mason is in his class...but poor teacher! The teacher seems great and I so far Kollin likes her! Im very excited for the upcoming school year! He is growing up so fast and is so darn cute! Enjoy!
All ready to go see his class (that box was supplies - a gift - for his teacher).

Golf
Kollin's Golf school sent us this really neat video of the kids golfing! It's so cute to watch!
Disneyland
It's catch up time! So for Kollin's birthday present we took him to Disneyland! We went for 6 days and had SO MUCH FUN! We drove there which was an experience but it went really well. It took us about 7.5 hours but Kollin was a champ...never complained once (except to go the bathroom...brian too!). Kollin was absolutly the PERFECT age for both Dsineyland and California Adventure...amongst the two parks there was only about 5 rides he couldn't do (due to height). Other than that we rode EVERYTHING! He is a ride junkie and I LOVE IT!!! He did all the big rides - he had 4 favorite rides that we did multiple times...Splash Mountain, THe Madderhorn, Soarin Over California, Tower of Terror (CA Adventure), and the white water rapids ride at CA Adventure! We saw lots of characters and even had breakfast with a few! We saw all the fun parades, the light parade and even the amazing new Fireworks show! Disneyland is truly fun and amazing for ALL age groups! Im not sure who all had more fun between the 3 of us! Kollin brought home LOTS AND LOTS of new toys from disneyland. We drove there which was an experience but it went really well. It took us about 7.5 hours but Kollin was a champ...never complained once (except to go the bathroom...brian too!). We had so much fun and Kollin can't wait to go back and go on those few rides he wasn't able to go on!
