Oh What a Weekend!

This weekend we went to "Spring Training" in Arizona with our good friend's Michael & Aimee (both of us celebrating our Anniversaries - Us 6 years and them 10 years)! We had SO MUCH FUN! We left Friday night and came back home Monday night. What an amazing place. Our weekend was full of Baseball, shopping, LOTS AND LOTS of laughing, and GREAT memories to last a lifetime. We couldn't have asked for better people to share our Anniversary with! Thanks Michael & Aimee for the great Memories and all the fun!

Opening Day

Saturday we had a busy day! It was Opening Day for T-Ball! We had to be up bright and early (at the field by 8:15) for a "Tailgate Party". We had to decorate the truck (just for fun). Then there was a walking parade with all the teams (all age groups - about 700 kids) which ended on the field where retired MLB Players spoke and other Big Wigs of Folsom! It was fun! Dinger the River Cat was there, carnival activities and LOTS of people! The kids had fun although it was a LONG COLD morning! Luckily we just beat the rain!

Tonight we had another T-Ball practice and the boys got their uniforms (hat & Jersey). They were all so excited...it was very cute. As luck may have it besides Kollin being placed on Brian's favorite MLB Team, Kollin got #3 (picked at random) which was Brian's number all through Little League! I guess this means Good Luck this season! They were both very excited (I think Brian a little more than Kollin). Here are a few pictures. Thanks Papa for Sponsoring our team!

Discipline In The Quade House

Tonight in the Quade house we created a new chart! We have been having a few "issues" with Kollin the past couple months so we decided its time to get a little tougher! I went online and found pictures of all his "favorite" things to do around our house (TV, Wii, DS, Computer, junk, lego's, his quad, his tractor, etc.) I then printed them out, laminated them, and stuck velcro to them! So far they are all on the "GOOD" side but as things progress im sure some will move to the bad which means they are away for a week! We'll see how this works. Hopefully it does. He was very excited about it so we will see! We'll keep everyone posted!

St. Patty's Day Dinner

Sunday night we had our annual St. Patricks's Day dinner! This year was a little different! Normally it is at my parents house but this year Kathy Fox volunteered to do it...which was nice because David is Irish! She did (or THEY did) a fantastic job! The kids had a great time playing in the yard before dinner. The food was great - Even the dessert Kathy - and after dinner we all had an "activity"! Being Irish, david had a fun little Chant/Song that we all sang together. It was something his father did with him as a child so it was neat to have him share that with us and our kids. We all had a great dinner and evening! Thanks Kathy & David! - - Adam, we missed you!!

T-Ball

Kollin started T-Ball this season. We are all very excited...but I think Daddy the most. Brian has been waiting for this day ... Baseball! As luck may have it...Kollin got put on Brian's "Team". He is on the Indians...Daddy's favorite MLB Team! What a coinsidence! Here are a few pictures from the practices! Kollin is doing great. Our first game is the last weekend in March. Unfortunatly...Brian and I will miss that game as we will be at Spring Training in AZ but Nana & Papa will there and Auntie, Uncle jeff, Hannah, & Hailey will be there to root him on! He will do great! I look forward to game #2!

Leprechaun Trap

So Kollin had to make a Leprechaun trap for school! Yes we procrastinated a little but it turned out great! Kollin was very excited...and YES...he did do a lot of the work...I SWEAR!! All the stickers, the entire little castle thing...and ...he was a great supervisor! :) He does give directions well! I can't believe this is just a Kindergarden Project! Im scared for those to come. Here is a picture...we really hope we can trick that Leprechaun into coming inside our castle for our "pot of gold"!

The Bachelor

WOW! So I have to say...Im in total shock after watching the finale! Unfortunatly I have to say I am totally done watching the bachelor in the future! The show has gotten out of control! Thats my two cents! I just needed to vent! Have a good night!
